Dr. Brostowin felt he was chosen to become a Chiropractor because of the experiences he had as a child. When he was 8 years old he was running across a highway and was hit by a car going 75 mph. His six weeks in the hospital taught him the importance of helping people, especially in their time of need.  Dr. Brostowin decided then that he wanted to make that difference in other people’s lives.  Not until he was 20 years old did he choose which field to enter. The decision was very easy, he states, he was getting treated by a chiropractic for about two months. Then the chiropractor did the same spinal manipulation he has done in the past. However, during this time, he felt his asthma shortly disappeared. Dr. Brostowin states his asthma came back, but after a few treatments, the asthma never came back. He states unless you have asthma or had it you can't understand the feeling of finally being able to breath without feeling there is a tight belt strapped around your chest and now for the first time being able to breath without thinking about every breath.

One of Dr. Brostowin's passion, besides his family and treating children, is his passion of the field of Neurology.  Nutrition is also key factor in his work.  Educating patients on how good nutrition can provide your body with better health and manage autoimmune diseases and other diseases to be utilized in the office to improve your overall health.  Including holistic, preventative and focused care.

He has been married 23+ years and has a daughter and son.  He resides in Huntington, Long Island with his family and has a passion about being in shape and staying in shape.  At the age of 51, he plays in a men’s soccer league for 30 year olds and older.  Dr. Brostowin is also the team doctor for his team which keeps him busy treating the injuries that happen each game.  He has a certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has trained trainers in the best resistance training/weightlifting techniques.  Dr. Brostowin enjoys cardio and weightlifting at the gym and practices what he preaches.  He loves to mountain bike and street bike.
